CARE Initiative pays Advocacy Visits to Key Stakeholders

Our team recently conducted a strategic advocacy visit to the NESREA North East Zonal Office in Gombe to strengthen environmental governance. During this consultation, we discussed critical issues regarding ecosystem protection, regulatory compliance for green initiatives, and collaborative frameworks to mitigate climate risks across the region.

Our Mitigation Strategy

CARE Initiative is breaking this cycle by introducing clean cooking technologies and renewable energy solutions. By providing training on fuel efficient stoves and promoting solar energy adoption, we reduce the labor hours spent on fuel collection. Our approach empowers Gombe women to transition from firewood dependence to clean energy leadership, protecting their health and our shared forests.
